BUILDINGS & FACILITIES

Nile University’s campus expands over an area of 127 Acres at the heart of 6th of October City. The campus is designed in such a way to provide the most appropriate scientific environment that supports a “research” university including complete academic,research and service facilities for students, researchers and faculty as well as new technology start-ups.

NEW BUILDINGS

- Major support is required for the establishment of critically needed buildings for the University which are essential to accommodate the inflow of undergraduate and graduate students for the upcoming year.Detailed designs & Studies for these buildings have been prepared. - Each of these buildings represents a naming opportunity for donors, be it for the whole building or for individual spaces.


THE UNIVERSITY’S RESEARCH CENTER BUILDING

The research Center Building extends over an area of 20,000 m2 and is designed to host all of NU’s research activities including workshops, labs, staff offices and classrooms to serve researchers and students.

THE UNIVERSITY’S LIBRARY

The state of the art proposed library building is designed to provide a unique Library experience, supporting the educational and research needs of NU and the neighboring community. Faculty staff, students and visitors will be able to access information about the collections, services and electronic resources on and off campus. The library will also host academic, cultural and general awareness sessions and seminars open to the community. NU’s library as such will establish its position as a beacon of knowledge for the whole surrounding area.


FURNISHING & EQUIPMENT OF EXISTING FACILITIES

More support is required to complete and add the following spaces to the existing Main Building. Each of these facilities represents a naming opportunity:

EDUCATIONAL WING

In order to accommodate the upcoming inflow of new and registered students, unfinished space within the building needs to be set and furnished as classrooms and labs. The Main Building NU is currently carrying its activities from, includes unfinished wings with a total area of 1,750 m2. Each wing can accommodate 10 classrooms and 2 lecture halls with a capacity of 600 students each.

NU’s classrooms & labs are in critical need of updated furnishing, equipment and materials to match the world-class standards of education and research adopted at NU.


MAIN AUDITORIUM

The University’s Main auditorium seats up to 660 spectators and houses major University events such as graduation ceremonies, cultural events, seminars and conferences.


IN-KIND GIFTS

The University welcomes in-kind contributions which provide resources needed by the University. Such contributions could include:

ART WORK

Paintings, Sculptures, Statues, Murals or any other works of art that can be used to enhance the University's environment as well as the overall educational experience.

    SPORTS FACILITIES & OUTDOOR ELEMENTS:

    Elements such as trees, pergolas, fountains and wooden benches contribute to providing an overall pleasant experience for faculty members, researchers, students and visitors on campus. Sports facilities represent an essential element of students’ education at NU, various facilities and sports fields are needed to provide students with an opportunity to develop their athletic aptitudes and skills.
